Jane is an actress and singer, and trained in classical voice at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in the fabulous city of Glasgow, graduating with BMus (Hons). Subsequently, Jane undertook postgraduate training at the Brian Timoney Actors Centre, on their Ultimate Acting Programme, specialising in method acting.
Her first feature film role was, appropriately enough, playing an opera singer in Noble, directed by Stephen Bradley. Since then she has been cast in principal roles in four short and full-length films: BoXeD, Now I Am Become Death, The Con Game, and Free To Be.
Jane is also an experienced and versatile theatre actress, having performed in plays including: Macbeth, Of Mice And Men, A Streetcar Named Desire, and Alice In Wonderland. Singing credits include the world premieres of two musical dramas: Jane, based on the life of Jane Austen, and Icepicks and Violets, a musical biography of Mallory and Irvine.
She has also been known to indulge her love of opera, G&S, and musical theatre in concerts all over the country, with her wonderful pianist, Jon Barton.
